Business Case:
Portfolio Managers and Program/Project Managers want to see a visual roadmap view of their investments/projects with upcoming gates, milestones, key tasks, tasks slippage from baseline.
There are no stock reports in Clarity PPM that provides this kind of a view. Here is a screenshot of a custom report developed by Albatroz Solutions for our customers that needed such a view.
About the Report:
A program/portfolio roadmap report, gives an overview of projects progress through the different phase gates.
Below are the key features of the roadmap report:
1. The report lists the portfolios/programs and the respective projects grouped under them.
2. The report displays the timeline (
) for each project along with and indicator for the phase gates (
) that have been met.
3. The timeline view on the report can be changed to weekly/monthly/quarterly. For example, the project manager would prefer to have a timeline of weekly for his projects while the program manager or portfolio manager would find the monthly or quarterly view useful.
4. The report also displays the key tasks duration (
) along with baseline slippage (
) helping the project managers with the schedule of the project and possible delays.
