Albatroz's proprietary Integration Framework for Clarity is a framework that can be used to create one or more integrations between Clarity and third party applications.
This UI based framework guides the developer through a series of configurations from reading the data from source, transforming the data using business rules, validating the sanity of the data before its loaded into Clarity.
The framework support both file based integrations as well as webservices (SOAP or REST) based integrations. While file-based integrations need the columns in the file to be mapped to destination fields within the framework objects, for webservices based integration, the developer needs to use GEL Scripting to read the data from the source systems using API endpoints and load into the framework's objects. The remaining steps and flow of data is consistent
The Integration Framework is a complete solution, with not just the processing of data, but also error handling, notifications and reporting to make it easier for any administrator to review and act on any data failures. The integration dashboard comes with 5 standard portlets that provide summary to detailed level of information on the execution of each integration job run.
The Integration can be scheduled or executed on an adhoc-basis using Clarity's standard Job Scheduler functionality.
